Tender description

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, South East Essex Community Health Services are seeking a suitably experienced provider to work in partnership with the existing local wheelchair service, to be responsible for the assessment and provision of wheelchairs and associated seating to approximately 300 children and young people, whose GP is located in the South East Essex CCGs' area. The service will cover young people up to and including those aged 25 at the time of the initial assessment. This service will include patient assessment and the supply of wheelchairs and associated seating to children and young people with permanent mobility impairment to enable them to access the community. In addition, the service will provide relevant and appropriate education, in order to promote greater independence and support social inclusion.
