Spring Hall Museum External Fabric Repairs

All documentation is available at www.yortender.co.uk. The Council require one contractor to undertake external fabric repairs to Spring Hall Mansion in Halifax. The full details of the works to be undertaken are outlined in the specification that accompanies this advert. The following is provided as a summary only:- • Stripping off of the existing slates and ridge tiles • Replace rotten valleys and rafters • Upgrade insulation and slate underlay • Reinstate the slates and replace all lead soakers and flashings. • Repair and decorate gutters and down pipes. • Chimney repair and pointing including flaunching. • Re pointing of the building. • Sliding sash window repairs Please note: Accompanied site visits are a condition to tender, dates will be published via the YORtender messaging portal. The works must commence 3rd September 2018 due to the nature of the occupation of the building which is used as the Council's Registrars.
