Tender description

IoTUK Challenger North is a focused 2-day event - 20 & 21 September - aimed specifically at SMEs, startups, and scale-ups working with 'Internet of Things'. There are a series of challenges - covering domains such as health and social care, transport, smart cities, and more - that are looking for Internet of Things solutions. Open to all SMEs, startups and scale-ups in 'the North.' Participating SMEs, startups, scale-ups will get to spend 2 days with 'challenge owners' and develop Internet of Things solutions to their specific challenges. Participants will also benefit from the ample networking opportunities, getting their services/products seen by an engaged crowd, and support from the team during the event. There will be a selection of prizes from ODI Leeds, and winners will also get support and mentoring after the event to help develop ideas in to market-ready solutions. Application process is simple - submit some details via the IoTUK application portal. Depending on the number of applications, there will be a review process and then successful SMEs, startups, scale-ups will be invited to take part. Some travel budget is available for participants coming from the further flung parts of 'the North.' Keywords: Internet of Things, IoT
