Workforce diversity and inclusion – and organisational progress in this area - is a key priority for the Mayor of London and his administration. The Mayor has recently published his Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy Inclusive London which makes clear that the GLA aspires to lead by example on workforce diversity and inclusion policy and practice. At the request of the Mayor, unconscious bias learning has now been delivered to the political, executive and senior leadership teams within the GLA. The Mayor now wants all staff to undertake unconscious bias learning. We are looking to provide unconscious bias learning for all staff in a range of ways including online, face to face and in 1:1 settings.
