Tender description

Following a market engagement exercise in July 2018, Highways England has prepared a supplier engagement outputs report to provide a summary of the feedback obtained from the face to face engagement event held in July 2018 and the written responses received from suppliers. Following consideration of the valuable feedback received, we would like to brief potential suppliers also on the latest position in regards to our commercial model and thinking. The developed model has been developed further since the engagement exercise. In July 2018 Highways England held a Market Engagement Event in London to brief suppliers on our latest thinking for a new procurement vehicle to deliver our Smart Motorways Programme (SMP). We also welcomed written responses and took into account feedback from the event and these responses to create the following outputs report which can be found at the following web link: https://s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/assets.highwaysengland.co.uk/PIN/Routes+to+Market+Smart+Motorways+Alliance+-++Supplier+Engagement+outputs+report.pdf Please also see the additional information document at the following weblink: https://s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/assets.highwaysengland.co.uk/PIN/Routes+to+Market+Smart+Motorways+Alliance+-+Supplier+Engagement+additional+information.pdf This document describes the updated approach to Budget Setting and Incentivisation previously presented during the Supplier Engagement exercise in July 2018. The information contained within this document has considered feedback from previous market engagement to improve the model and aims to provide further detail regarding these 2 elements of the Smart Motorways Alliance commercial model. This document reflects most recent developments within the Smart Motorways Alliance (SMA) and Routes to Market procurement solution. Further information will be available during the official procurement stages. HE are seeking feedback from participants on the updated commercial arrangements for the Smart Motorways Alliance outlined in this document, specifically any key matters that would influence the participants appetite to tender or impact the structure of their future tender submission. Please send feedback by Wednesday 5 September to the following email address: RTMYourQuestions@highwaysengland.co.uk Should potential suppliers have any difficulty in accessing the Engagement Pack they should contact the RTMYourQuestions@highwaysengland.co.uk address.
