Tender description

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking to commission an alternative education offer ("Alternative Provision") at Extended Key Stage 4. The Service will support pupils in Academic Years 9-11 (ages 13-16) permanently excluded from, or at risk of exclusion from, mainstream secondary education in Lincolnshire. The Service will require innovative approaches to facilitate the re-engagement of pupils previously disenfranchised from more traditional systems of learning that can be tailored to meet the identified development needs of individual pupils. The curriculum offer will need to appropriately balance strong vocational and pastoral elements with a robust delivery of academic Core Subjects. The Service will provide 75 pupil places annually with scope for commissioning a further 50 additional pupil places annually.
