Tender description

North Devon Council is inviting suitably qualified and experienced organisations to manage and operate its two theatres: (1) The Queens Theatre, Barnstaple; and (2) The Landmark Theatre, Ilfracombe, Devon. The contract will include an internal repairing building lease for each theatre and a single management contract with a view to appointing a suitable partner to take over the running of the theatres, thereby transferring the business of the theatres and all their activities to an external party. The value of the contract has been based on the current annual subsidy paid by the Council to the incumbent operator. The procurement route for this tender is the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation. The Council reserves the right to award the contract following submission of the invitation to submit initial tenders (ISIT).
