Closed-circuit surveillance system

Tender description

Conwy County Borough Council has now appointed suitable Suppliers to Maintain the CCTV System, Relocate the Control Room and Upgrade to HD Cameras. The term of the contract period will be for 3 years with an option for the Authority to extend for a further period of up to 2 years. Conwy County Borough Council has now awarded: a) a Maintenance Contract for the Control Room equipment; b) a contract for the relocation the Control Room equipment to the new Council Offices in Colwyn Bay. Conwy County Borough Council has not awarded this Lot for: a) a Maintenance Contract for the Cameras and Transmission to the Control Room Conwy County Borough Council has now awarded the contract to: a) Replace existing analogue CCTV cameras with new High Definition (HD) cameras; b) Replace the current analogue transmission system (using BT RS1000 analogue fibre and MSI analogue fibre) with a new digital transmission system to support HD IP Cameras (and lowering running costs); c) Take out a Maintenance Contract on the new Cameras and Transmission system.
