1.1 This Request for Information (RFI) is intended to enable Historic Environment Scotland (HES) to engage the wider market to receive information on solutions to meet our needs to develop Dallas Dhu Distillery. A unique opportunity is now available at the historic Dallas Dhu Distillery. HES is inviting proposals from any interested parties, either individually or in collaboration with others, to develop the site. HES is inviting proposals from any interested parties, either individually or in collaboration with others, to develop the site. Ideas for development could include (but are not exclusive to) storing whisky in a historic dunnage warehouse, the possibility of recommencing distilling at the site, (whisky, craft, gin, beer, rum or other), an extension and improvement of the visitor experience at the site, a ‘whisky academy’ or any other viable suggestions.
