IT0601 - App to reduce car use on the school run through the development and implementation of school travel plans

Wiltshire Council are looking for an app to supplement their work to reduce car use on the school run through the development and implementation of school travel plans. Wiltshire has many schools with large rural catchments and where bus services do not meet the needs of the school commute; in these cases car-sharing is often the only available option for reducing the number of cars. It is also important for us to understand how, where and why people are travelling to school to determine the most appropriate interventions to encourage greater use of more sustainable modes of travel.
