Tender description
Financial Lives Survey with 6 lots. The survey is biennial, with the work required to plan, run and report the survey lasting 2 years. This Contract covers Cycle 2 and Cycle 3 with an option to extend to Cycle 4. Cycle 1 of the Financial lives survey has been completed. The Lot 1 Supplier is required to implement the same, or an improved approach to sampling and recruitment for the online survey as that implemented in Wave 1. Programme and host the online survey, including a full pilot and provide the survey data cleaned and with weights appended, online and face-to-face responses combined, ready for producing data tables. The Lot 2 Supplier is required to conduct the in-home interviews, based on a random probability sampling design from the Lot 1 Supplier, including a pilot. The Lot 3 Supplier is responsible for a full data tables specification, taking the Wave 1 tabspec as their starting point, and for producing for Wave 2 full sets of unweighted and weighted data tables, as well Wave 1 to 2 tracking tables. There are two objectives for Lot 4. The first involves gathering evidence to be published in our external reports Objective A; the second is using the qualitative research to communicate survey findings and engage our stakeholders at the FCA and externally Objective B. The Lot 5 Supplier should author, working with the FCA, two reports: a large-scale survey research report and a shorter report; these reports will include qualitative research results generated through Lot 4. The reports will demonstrate changes in results, or the status quo, between waves. They must be written in line with the FCA’s style guide and clear content guidelines. The Lot 6 Supplier is responsible for authoring, working with the FCA, a report for the FAMR, Financial Advice Market Review, that demonstrates changes in results, or the status quo, compared to findings from the Wave 1 quantitative survey.
