Dodder Public Transportation Opening Bridge – Detailed Ground Investigation Contract

Tender description

Dublin City Council is seeking to carry out a detailed ground investigation contract for the development of public infrastructure and associated accomodation works in the Docklands area of the City. The investigaiton works will involve the drilling of cable percussion and rotary core boreholes on land and over water, excavation of trial pits, excavation of slit trenches, geophysical surveying (on land and over water), multi-beam echo sounder and CHIRP sonar survey, associated temporary traffic management, in-situ testing, laboratory testing and production of a factual & interpretative Ground Investigation and Contamination Assessment reports and a geophysical surveying report. The investigations are required to inform the future development which consists of a new bridge and roadworks across the Dodder River connecting Sir John Rogersons Quay and the R131 at the Ringsend side. Additional works associated with the development are land reclamation adjacent to Tom Clarke Bridge and a new building for St Patricks Boat Club. The Contractor shall act as PSCS for the duration of the investigation works. Please refer to the attached documentation for further information
