Tender description

The University of Exeter is currently reviewing its parking and permits strategy and would like to offer solution providers of smart parking and permits the opportunity to meet with the university and discuss where the market currently is and showcase their innovative product offering and solutions. The university is a large campus that will require a forward thinking approach to the parking and permit solution; The university would be excited to see both front end and back end option around barriers, ANR, IOT connectivity and multiple system integration such as ebikes, Ev Charging and EV1 identify cards. The university’s would hope to see innovative current and future, scalable, fit for purpose solutions with consideration for interest around “congestion charge” zone. In response to this PIN notice suppliers should submit a maximum of 4 sides of A4 via the CTM eTendering portal outlining their current innovative thinking in this area. The university may then decide to ask a selection of suppliers to present their solutions at a workshop session. This PIN has been issued in order to advertise this engagement exercise to the open market and seek expressions of interest from suppliers that wish to take part and to present to the university's project team to help us understand the marketplace in more detail. This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is not a call for competition, for the purposes of Regulation 26(9) of the public contracts Regulations 2015.
