Tender description

Efficiency East Midlands Ltd (EEM) is a procurement consortia which establishes and manages a range of Framework Agreements. Our members include Social Housing Providers, Local Authorities, Universities, NHS Trusts and regional Police Forces. EEM wished to procure and enter into a framework agreement with multiple contractors, for the provision of Damp Proofing and Preservation Works. Due to the geographical spread of our Members eligible to use the established framework it likely that the works will be split into core regional geographical lots. EEM on behalf of its members was looking to establish a framework for the provision of Damp Proofing and related services. Requirements may differ for each member and may change during the lifetime of the framework. Contracting Authorities will utilise their services as necessary via the framework. During the course of the Framework we will be looking for Contractors to carry out the following works: Damp Proofing — Destructive tests to ascertain actual damp levels in the fabric of the walls where doubts are raised, — Injection of liquid DPC’s, — Repair works to damp damaged finishes and fittings, — Repair and remediation works to joists and other timbers (damp damage), — Cavity Wall Insulation removal and reinstallation and ancillary works, — Tanking works, Woodworm, wet/dry rot — Wet and Dry Rot Treatment works Associated works — Removal and re-fixing of kitchen units and other fittings and fixtures including plumbing and electrical elements, — Removal and re-fixing of bathroom suites and other fittings and fixtures including plumbing and electrical elements, — Removal and re-fixing of carpets including temporary relocation of Tenants furniture whilst works are being undertaken.
