NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (AGCSU), on behalf of NHS England and Bedfordshire CCG (The Commissioners) will be inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver GP services at The Village Medical Centre, Kingswood, Way, Bedford MK40 4GH. In support of this, the Commissioners held a Market Engagement event on 5.7.2018. As a result of feedback from the event, the Commissioners would like views from the market on the preferred contract lengths for the forthcoming procurement. To access the questionnaire a) log into the Arden and GEM CSU e-Tendering portal https://ardengemcsu.bravosolution.co.uk (registration and use of the website is free of charge), b) selecting respond to advert and PQQ_524 Complete the questionnaire: Bidders should submit their questionnaire by 12:00 noon 1.8.2018. The actual patient list size as at April 2018 was 8 314 with the weighted list size 6 904,02. The services must be GP led and provided by GPs, nurses and other clinical professionals, the successful Provider will be expected to: — provide primary care services which will be accessible, convenient and responsive, — deliver all services throughout core hours Monday — Friday 8:00 am-6:30 pm, — design services around the needs of patients and carers, ensuring they are offered more choice and a greater say in their treatment, — have processes in place to evaluate and continually improve on patient satisfaction •Have processes in place to engage effectively with the local communities, — participate in National Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF), — be eligible for and expected to provide all Enhanced Services, remunerated in line with the relevant Directions as specified by the commissioner on an annual basis, — promotion of healthy living with the aim of tackling the underlying causes of ill health. There is significant housing growth in the area and as such the patient list is growing. There is also the opportunity to earn extra income via QOF and CCG GP Enhanced Commissioning Framework.
