ICT18018 - Supply of Networking Equipment including Support and Maintenance and Associated Services

Tender description

Derbyshire County Council is inviting Tenders for the Supply of Networking Equipment including Support and Maintenance and Associated Services. It is the Council's intention that the Contract will be fully implemented from 1 November 2018. This is due to the expiration of the existing contract, and urgent business needs based on the Council's technical development programme. The following is within scope of this Contract: - Supply of networking equipment which is functionally compatible with the current equipment; - Support and maintenance of current networking equipment and for new networking equipment supplied under this Contract; and - Solution design, consultancy, specification/recommendation and implementation of networking equipment. As an optional requirement: Trade in schemes for end of life or surplus networking equipment, directly with the manufacturer. This requirement has not been separated into lots as the Council has a single requirement for generation of efficiencies and the primary Contractor having full responsibility for delivery of the Solution. This Tender is being advertised through OJEU and the notice was submitted on Monday 23 July 2018.
