Notification of Award of the following: Thames Water (TW) require a number of items to be transported between sites both planned and reactively. These items vary from palletized items (such as sandbags) to large pumps weighing up to c.2500kg. We are looking for a supplier who currently operates 24/7, 365 days in order to meet our OFWAT Key Performance Metrics, have the existing capability and capacity to respond to and fulfill the following services and response times: — reactive service (1 hr, 2hrs, 4hrs deliveries), — planned service (next day, 48hrs,72hrs deliveries). Notification of Award of the following: Thames Water Utilities (TW) is the UK’s largest water and waste services company with approx. 4 700 employees across the whole Thames Water area. We require a number of items to be transported between sites both planned and reactively. These items vary from palletized items (such as sandbags) to large pumps weighing up to c.2500kg. We are looking for a supplier who currently operates 24/7, 365 days in order to meet our OFWAT Key Performance Metrics, have the existing capability and capacity to respond to and fulfill the following services and response times: — reactive service (1 hr, 2hrs, 4hrs deliveries), — planned service (next day, 48hrs,72hrs deliveries). Planned Service. In addition to the Reactive Deliveries, we may also require haulage for planned deliveries with the following delivery and/or collection timeline: — Next Day Delivery. — 48 Hour Delivery. — 72 Hour Delivery. It should be noted that some collection items may be “dirty” equipment that has been used as part of a sewage event and although the operational sites are required to clean this equipment, they may still contain residual sewage. Therefore, the Supplier needs to consider the type of vehicle used here to avoid any contamination to other customer items/products. The Range of Products: Palletised items such as sand-bags to submersible pumps. (Weights of which can be in the region of 1000kg and above.). Thames Water reserves the right to award the agreement to one supplier.
