Contract for the Consultancy Services relating to Viability Assessment - Planning

Wyre Forest District Council wishes to appoint a Contractor to provide consultancy services relating to the review of viability of development appraisals for the Development Management process. The appointment will be by way of competitive Tender. The Consultant firm will have a proven track record in, and appropriately qualified professional staff (MRICS and MRTPI, as appropriate) in: - residential agency in the West Midlands, in order to provide first hand advice on market sensitive variables including developer returns (in relation to different risk scenarios), marketing and sales overheads, borrowing costs - understanding of the residential market in Wyre Forest, in a variety of contexts, from small rural sites, to large scale strategic sites - Site Specific Viability appraisal review, across a range of scenarios from small rural sites on previously developed land, to major strategic sites, and preferably in a north Worcestershire context - cost and building consultancy expertise , to be able to scrutinise abnormal development costs through appropriately qualified staff.
