Tender description

The Master Trust initiative responds to the Pension Scheme Act 2017, which requires TPR to authorise and supervise all DC Master Trusts. The Master Trust Programme is therefore a regulatory initiative that is mandated by law. TPR must authorise master trusts schemes from October 2018. One of the 5 authorisation criteria is that Master Trusts must have robust systems and processes, this includes controls around IT system and security of data. This contract is to procure services to support TPR in defining it's approach to this assessment criteria and reviewing the quality of individual applications in line with this criteria.
