Scottish Procurement is considering the establishment of a collaborative arrangement for Cloud services Scottish Procurement is considering the establishment of a collaborative arrangement for cloud services. Strategic analysis for any new arrangement would look to develop and build upon the current collaborative Hosting Services framework agreement which is due toexpire in May 2019. The scope of any new collaborative arrangement is still being considered however the broad scope could include: a) Public Cloud Services; b) Private Cloud Services; c) Co-Location Services; d) Community Cloud Services; e) Hybrid Cloud Services; f) Enablement Services. Where Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) are likely to be considered key requirements of any future Cloud Services arrangement it is likely that Software as a Service (SaaS) would be out of scope, being delivered by alternative arrangements. Consideration is being given to the structure of any future framework in terms of scope (as listed above) and potential lots.
