Tender description

Supported lodgings provide a bridge between care and independence allowing young people to make their own decisions while maintaining supportive adults around them. The providers complete tasks with the young people to begin to prepare them for taking on their own tenancy when they feel confident to do so. The Council welcomes the markets' view on alternatives to our current contract, we ask that organisations complete the questionnaire avalable on www.yortender.co.uk Following receipt of this form we may wish to explore some providers’ responses further. This wouldn’t preclude any providers from bidding on any subsequent tender as we are only seeking information; a discussion date has been set for 31.7.2018. In order to meet the need for supported lodgings, the council currently has a contract to provide 14 placements for both males and females; the contract also provides 13 hours of floating support per week to be used to support care leavers aged 16 to 21 around identified need.
