Tender description

WCHG has a requirement for a new Asbestos Contract, incorporating asbestos surveys, testing/analysis, and asbestos removal. The Contract will run for a period of 2 years, with an option to extend for 2 further 12-month periods, subject to satisfactory performances and annual review. 1) Asbestos management surveys of communal areas. 2) Full demolition and refurbishment surveys of void properties. 3) Full demolition and refurbishment surveys of programmed works, including kitchens and bathrooms, including textured coatings, pads and boxing. 4) Risk assessments and prioritisation regarding the likelihood of the ACM’s actually being disturbed and exposing employees, residents and other persons. 5) Preparation of a management plan to manage the Risk. 1) Clearance certification. 2) Reassurance testing. 3) Compliance monitoring. 4) Assessment of suitability respirator protection. 5) Asbestos monitoring. 6) Provision of analysts. 7) Sampling of potential asbestos materials. 8) Preparation of specifications relating to asbestos etc. 9) Total particle monitoring of both personnel and backgrounds. 10) Provision of equipment for particle monitoring. 11) Issue of report on particle monitoring. Asbestos Removal services including: — supervision of asbestos removal, — preparation of specifications relating to asbestos etc., — removal of all items.
