Tender description
DfI requires a Contractor to collect, from various community collection points, and deliver to the Household Reuse and Recycling Centre (HRRC), located at La Collette, Waste Portable Batteries generated in Jersey. Terminology: The term Waste Portable Batteries* is used to describe both batteries and accumulators, received from the public (householders) and businesses in Jersey. * It does not include lead acid batteries or other batteries from electrically powered vehicles. Type of Batteries: Mixed portable batteries, which includes: Small batteries of mixed chemistries, including button batteries, and rechargeable batteries such as those used in laptops and power tools.
