KMCPRP-128 Transportation of School Meals

Additional school meals which are prepared off site at larger schools are required to be transported in a timely manner to smaller satellite schools. Meal items being transported are packaged in compliant thermal food boxes which retain temperature control, however the goods must still arrive within strict timescales (within 60 Minutes) to ensure that any foods chilled or hot remain compliant with food safety standards. As such, Kirklees Council require suitable operators to collect meals from the provider schools and transport them in a safe and time sensitive manner (in line with the timescales above) to three (3) recipient schools (as detailed in the specification) to ensure they are able to serve the food in line with planned schools' lunch times during term time.
