The Welsh Government is looking to create five pilot projects to run pan wales, which will operate for two years. The projects are to be delivered in the heart of the community and enable individuals to explore how self-employment can benefit and affect their lives; this in turn will assist individuals to generate and develop workable business ideas, overcome barriers and develop transferable skills that will be relevant should they choose an alternative route. Successful bidders will need to Identify and engage with disadvantaged individuals at a community level in specific locations across Wales to explore and encourage self-employment as a positive option. Lot 2 of the Promoting Entrepreneurship In Less Advantaged Communities covers the Mid Wales region.
