The City of Edinburgh Council will shortly commence the re-tender for a single partner for the Provision of Supply and/or Delivery of Trade Material Commodities and Associated Services and is inviting you to come and meet with the Project Team to discuss this potential opportunity and support the development of the procurement strategy. The City of Edinburgh Council will shortly commence the re-tender for a single partner for the Provision of Supply and/or Delivery of Trade Material Commodities and Associated Services and is inviting you to come and meet with the Project Team to discuss this potential opportunity and feed into the procurement strategy. The current contract with Travis Perkins Plc ends on the 1.4.2020 and the Council expects to award the new Contract in the autumn of 2019 for a period of seven years with the option to extend for a further 3 years. It is the purpose of this PIN to inform the procurement strategy and to identify the appetite of the market. Interested providers are invited to meet with Council’s Project Team on the 6.8.2018. A one-hour time slot will be provided for each organisation seeking an appointment and will form a 10-minute presentation with an overview of your organisation and then the remainder an open question and answer session aimed at understanding more about your interest in tendering, the procurement process, your experience and our IT requirements. It should be noted that the Council will only consider a single supplier or consortiums for this opportunity. Providers who cannot provide a full range of trade materials should consider partnering with other organisations to meet the full specification.
