Continued support for Analyse School Performance (ASP), School Performance Tables (SPT), and Get Information About Schools (GIAS) services

Tender description

DfE has a need to develop and maintain its school data and information services and in particular for this work package, the new Analyse School Performance service, School Performance Tables and Get Information About Schools service. The Data Modernisation Division is responsible for these services and intends following: • an agile/scrum methodology to achieve its development and data release goals • a Kanban approach for support and maintenance of all services The Supplier will support scrum teams, resourced partly from in-house employees, by providing the specialist roles and skills to both develop and maintain the systems that make up these services. Typically the scrum teams will work in sprint cycles which will be required to come together and co-locate for sprint ceremonies (show'n'tells, sprint planning, user story refinement and retrospectives) at a specified DfE or supplier office subject to availability. The Supplier will be responsible for providing their own suitable work arrangements/locations outside of these times/events in order to achieve the required outcomes. DfE expects high quality deliverables/support for its services so requires the Supplier to collaborate with DfE, its business representatives, third party suppliers, its stakeholders and customers. To achieve this DfE will require the Supplier and their teams to attend and support pre-determined (user research, workshops, demonstrations etc) as specified by the product manager/service manager. Where additional expenses are incurred DfE will meet these in accordance with the DfE travel and subsistence policy for suppliers.
