Tender description

The Southern Academy trust (SAT; the Trust) is a multi-academy trust currently comprising four schools located in North Dorset. The Trust seeks to partner with a catering services provider to prepare and serve school meals at its four academies. The procurement is to take place by means of a contract tender in advance of services commencing in September 2018. The result of the tender exercise is to achieve good quality, competitively priced meals for all pupils, staff and visitors. The preferred contractor should ensure at all times that the outcome will provide best value to the Trust, and flexible to potential future opportunities within the Academies and other local institutions. The aim is to ensure that a partnership agreement is reached which is honest, offers value for money, demonstrates best practice and provides services that are professional and meet the needs of all stakeholders on a sustainable basis throughout the duration of the contract.
