1054 ITT for the Provision of Coach Travel Services for De Montfort University

Tender description

De Montfort University (DMU) is conducting this procurement using the open procedure in accordance with the requirements of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/102) (PCR 2015) for the purpose of procuring the Services as described in the Specification. This Invitation to Tender (ITT) contains information about the procurement process, the Specification, guidance on what Tenderers need to complete as part of their submission (their Tender), and information on how submitted Tenders will be evaluated. Each Tenderer's response (Tender) should be detailed enough to allow DMU to make an informed selection of the most appropriate services. The purpose of this Contract is to establish a Framework Agreement for the provision of Coach Travel services. The University has the requirement to transport staff, student & visitors to & from many destinations around the UK; key destinations include sports grounds and airports. The reason for the establishment of a Framework Agreement for each of the above services is to ensure that a compliant, assured service can be provided ensuring the safe and reliable transportation of all those who may be using the services. It is also intended that spend can be consolidated and better manged through the establishment of this Framework to benefit the University. The University's detailed requirements are defined in the Specification.
