INVITATION FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) FOR ACCOMMODATION FOR CULTURAL AND LANGUAGE IMMERSION SCHEME (CALIS) 2019+

Tender description

City University of Hong Kong (CityU), and Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) run the Cultural and Language Immersion Scheme (CALIS) Summer School, which takes place in Sheffield Hallam University in June-July every year. It is a condition of this funding that during the summer school CityU students live in homestay accommodation - with a local family near SHU. The purpose of this is to help improve students' English communication skills and deepen their knowledge of British culture through immersion in local family life. The homestay is the principal residence for the students during the summer school programme. The anticipated number of students requiring accommodation for 2019 is 40. We are seeking a supplier to identify, secure, assess suitability and manage the homestay families' and accommodation of the CityU students.
