Heanor and Loscoe Multi Use Games Areas

Tender description

Amber Valley Borough Council (AVBC), is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified service provider to deliver the design, supply and installation of two new steel multi use games area's (MUGA's) including rebound goal ends and side fencing. Each MUGA shall measure 28 metres(m) long by 17m wide and incorporate two football goal ends, two basketball hoops and two cricket wickets conforming to current British Standards EN 15312. The tenderer shall include accompanying groundworks to create a level tarmac playing surface, external pathways and supplementary landscaping to ensure the MUGA's harmonise with the existing surroundings ready for public use. The evaluation of each tender will be weighted towards durability and adherence to the Design Brief and Specification to ensure their suitability in an unsupervised environment. The MUGA's will be required at two locations within the Parish of Heanor and Loscoe, one located at Lockton Avenue Playing Field, DE75 7EQ and one located at Charles Hill Playing Fields, DE75 7RN.
