Contract for the Provision of Eurolines Coach Services

Tender description

The Contracting Authority proposes awarding a Contract for the provision of Eurolines Coach Services for a three year period. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to extend this Contract(s) for a further period of 12 or 24 months. There are 2 Lots under this tender competition: Lot 1 – Route 871A Dublin/London (via Birmingham) and return Lot 2 - Route 880 Dublin/Leeds and return Bus Eireann is part of Europe’s express coach network consisting of a number of Companies operating in 25 Countries in Europe under the “Eurolines” brand. Bus Eireann /Eurolines services connect any point on Bus Eireann’s nationwide network to over 1,200 locations in Britain and provide onward connections to over 500 major European destinations. The services required relate to services operating on the Eurolines Central Corridor. The Central Corridor operates from Dublin/Leeds via Holyhead and Dublin/London via Holyhead. Bus Eireann will define the age and specification of vehicle required for the Services. Only Coaches with a minimum capacity of 47 seats and up to 5 years of age are required. Coaches which fall outside this requirement will not be considered.
