Bars for Bournemouth Air Festival

Tender description

The Tourism Department of Bournemouth Borough Council currently organise a major festival annually; the Bournemouth Air Festival which attracts up to 1 million visitors across 4 days. The Bournemouth Air Festival will take place along Bournemouth Seafront and Bournemouth Town Centre and will be centred on the length of beach from Bournemouth to Boscombe Pier. It will be the Air Festival's eleventh annual event. The Council is seeking bids from suppliers to operate a Bar service at nominated sites for the Air Festival for the years of 2018 (with the option to extend annually to 2019 and 2020). This will be awarded on a site by site basis and has been separated into four Lots, each lot will be evaluated and awarded separately. Suppliers are able to bid for as many of the four lots that they wish to. The lots available are as below: • Lot 1 - Bournemouth Pier Bar and Food • Lot 2 - East Cliff Bar • Lot 3 - Bar and Restaurant • Lot 4 - Over Cliff Bar and Food Bournemouth Council is looking for fresh and unique bar offerings with high quality in their design which will fit in a thriving and contemporary town and a family style event. The Council are not looking for high volume fast output bars but a quality look and experience to compliment an orderly and flourishing site.
