Tender description
Waterford City & County Council is inviting Tenders from community based organisations to support the delivery of a resettlement programme for Programme Refugees in Waterford City & County. Applicant organisations must have experience in working in partnership with local service providers in the provision of services to vulnerable communities. The programme will run initially for 18 months from 1/12/17 to 30/05/19. The main objective of this initiative is to support refugees from Syria who will be resettled to various locations in Waterford City & County. The organisation selected will have the capacity to: • Work in partnership with local service providers and the Interagency Resettlement Group to support the inclusion of the refugees in mainstream service provision. • Appoint two Resettlement Support Workers who will manage the project and will be the point of contact for Syrian Programme Refugees in Waterford City & County • Provide on-going support and supervision to the Resettlement Support Workers in the implementation of their duties
