Tender description

The Science Museum Group plan to publish a tender for a Museum Collections Transportation Framework. This framework will cater for Science Museum Group’s usual business requirements, but it will also cater for the Blythe House decant project where the V and A and British Museum will also be able to call off via a mini competition which could be a collaborative approach between all 3 institutions. Lot 1: Collection object and fine art moves (with mandatory international capability). Lot 2: Installation items moves (e.g. set works with mandatory international capability). Lot 3: Non-museum object moves – to include racking, cabinets, furniture, equipment etc. Lot 4: Library and Archive moves. Lot 5: Heavy or Large moves.
