Tender description

The Department for International Trade (DIT) produces and attends approximately 2000 events per year via its Headquarters, Regional Offices and Overseas Posts. To manage and produce these events DIT has an Event Management System that includes booking, promotion and communication. The contract for the current platform is due to expire in September 2018. An in-house solution is being developed to replace it, however will not be ready until 2020. DIT requires an interim platform to be provided to support its requirements. The platform needs to be a single cloud-based platform. The Contract will be for a period of two (2) years with an option to extend by up to twelve (12) months. The Procurement is going to be run via the Accelerated Restricted Procedure due to project urgency and the need to procure a replacement platform quickly. The expected start date of the Contract is 13.8.2018. It is expected that the provided platform commences full services by 8.10.2018.
