Tender description

The Organisational Development team within Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust (PHT), through NHS South of England Procurement Services (SoEPS), is seeking information from companies able to provide a comprehensive Senior Leadership Development Programme. The Trust has been through a period of extensive change. With a new Board and stable Executive team now in place shaping priorities, we have taken the opportunity to review our organisational structure. Whilst it is recognised that CSC’s and individuals are working hard to achieve the Trust’s objectives, the current structure of 11 separate Clinical Service Centre Senior Leadership teams is not delivering the level of performance, quality, financial control and standards required. Therefore it is necessary to change the structure to fewer divisions (proposed 4 divisions) and reframe the expectations of the leaders within these Senior Leadership teams and provide appropriate level of development to support the transition. This programme is intended to provide development for up to 87 Senior Divisional and Corporate Leaders affected by the restructure in the senior tiers of the organisation. The programme of development is intended to create a high performing, collaborative senior leadership team who take ownership and responsibility for the wider trusts success. It is anticipated that the programme will be delivered in 3 teams over a period of 12 months and will focus on 3 core modules: — Individual Leadership Style, — Getting the best from your team, — Developing Organisational Skills and Knowledge.
