Tender description

Liverpool City Council is working with the football association and Sport England in order to deliver a step-change in the football facilities in Liverpool as part of the “Parklife Project”. The Parklife Project involves the initial construction of four football hubs at sites across Liverpool and may involve further facilities being delivered in duecourse, as part of this concession. The purpose of the procurement is to select an operator by way of a concession, to manage and operate the facilities. The purpose of this procurement process is to select the operator that the council will contract with in order to operate the initial 4 football hubs and others as they are delivered by the council. The concession contract clearly sets out how these new facilities can be brought on stream and operated by its selected operator. This is an initial 10 years opportunity (with the option to extend for up to a further 5 years) to generate income from the facilities.
