CBC-0842-T-CE Fencing Installation at Sundon Landfill Site - AWARD

SCOPE OF WORKS: FENCING INSTALLATION AND MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS New fencing will be erected within the site to define and protect the new planting areas during the establishment period, principally from damage from potential stock and rabbits. Two basic types will be erected: 1. Stock proof post & rail (or wire) rabbit proof fencing 1.2m tall 2. Rabbit proof fencing 900mm high Inspect all lines, fencing, gates and stiles every YEAR to a period of 5 years. Report any damage to the CBC representative and provide a programme for repair. The Contractor should price an annual visit and potential remedial works as a result of the installation, settlement, tensioning and any minor repairs. The work is expected to commence within a month of appointment of the Contractor. It is estimated that the establishment of fencing materials, gates and stiles be completed within approximately 2-3 months of the date of commencement and dependant on weather conditions. Last date for receiving questions on Intend system: 20/04/2018 Completed Tenders and attachments should be submitted electronically, by the due date via our 'in-tend' electronic tendering system. Tenders must be uploaded via the 'My Return' section of the system. Tenders submitted through the correspondence facility will not be considered. Expressions of Interest (EOI) closes 12:00 noon on 19/04/2018. Your Tender must be submitted via the In-Tend system by no later than 12:00 noon on 27/04/2018, tenders received after that time will be excluded.
