Youth Activities Offer

Tender description

Tenders are invited for suppliers who wish to provide youth activities on behalf of South Gloucestershire Council from 1st April 2019. The contract is for a 3 year period, but there is an option for the Council to extend the Contract period for a period(s) of up to 2 further years. The Council requires Providers to deliver positive activites for young people in the core age range of 13 - 18 years and for up to 25 years for some young people with LDD (Learning Difficulties and Disabilites) across South Gloucestershire. The Council wants to maximise the chances for young people to engage in positive, stimulating and enjoyable activities that provide opportunities for young people to develop healthy relationships with trusted adults and their peers and signposting to additional support if needed. The Provider will engage young people in high quality activities that young people will value and enjoy; led by suitably trained staff who are able to ensure those young people with the greatest needs are able to participate and benefit from the provision. The Council considers that TUPE may apply in respect of employees currently engaged by the existing Suppliers in the provision of the Services prior to commencement of the Contracts to be entered into with the Council. There will be a briefing session for interested Providers on 12th June at 2pm at the Bristol & Bath Science Park BS16 7FR.
