YAS 163 2017_18 - Leadership in Action (Leadership Development Programme) - AWARD

Tender description

Over the last year Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust (YAS) has embarked upon an ambitious project to refresh the Trust's values. The project successfully engaged several of YAS stakeholders, (including staff members) and following a period of extensive consultation launched a refreshed Values and Behaviours Framework in January 2018. The Trust has since identified that in order to embed the Framework and drive forward cultural change, a programme of development is required that will equip YAS senior leaders with important leadership skills. The Trust now intends to appoint a single provider to design and deliver a leadership programme titled: Leadership in Action (referred to as the Programme). The Programme will be delivered to an approximate cohort of one hundred and fifty (150) senior leaders, which includes the Trust's Executive Group (TEG) and will need to be tailored to meet a range of leadership experience and styles. The Programme must in addition engender a 'Train the Trainer' element to enable YAS to use the learning gained to refresh the Trust's core leadership offering; as well as a robust approach to capturing and evaluating the impact of the Programme upon leadership practice.
