This is a Preliminary Market Engagement Exercise The key objectives of the authority for this project are to: • Replace the council’s existing Regulatory Services software solution. This application has been in use for over twenty years and the council aims to develop the service, driving improvements in processes and staff flexibility. • Maintain regulatory compliance with government returns. • Improve the customer experience and staff efficiency by introducing self-service, electronic document management, integration and remote access. • Build on acknowledged Best Practice to streamline processes. • Link into the council’s corporate customer portal where relevant, to provide a seamless experience for customers. • Compliance with data protection and GDPR laws. • Manage and prioritise workloads To this end we are now engaging with the market to establish how these objectives and outcomes might be achieved.
