Tender description

Construction of the N52 Ardee Bypass scheme, comprising of approximately 4,5 km of mainline construction and approximately 1 km of side road construction, providing a western bypass of the town of Ardee. The proposed scheme will be a Type 2 Single Carriageway and comprise 6 road junctions, including a proposed roundabout on the N2 and a small roundabout at the junction of the realigned L5234 with the existing N52, and two river bridge structures (River Dee and Garra River). Works include: — Site Clearance, — Boundary Fencing, — Road Construction, Bulk earthworks, — 2 single span river bridges, — Surface water drainage, including attenuation ponds and culverts, — Asphaltic concrete road pavement; Road Restraint Systems, — Traffic signs and Road Markings, — Landscaping works; Utilities, — Accommodation Works, — Temporary Traffic Management, — Tie-in realigned road into existing roads; and other ancillary works.
