Full details of the tender can be found at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/sainthelena Scope This project is to provide the agreed supply chain for Building Materials to SHG, it is also expected that the supplier will be able to provide support for emergent requirements and individual large scale projects utilising their established supply chain routes. The Construction materials product matrix provided in Pricing Sheet C1 to this invitation to tender are not exhaustive, and the contractor would need the facility to enable sourcing of other such items from time to time. For the purpose of the invitation to tender, the common item list will need to be priced, as part of the completed submission by the bidder. Alternative quality equivalent products will be considered but at the sole decision of the procurement evaluation panel. Incomplete submissions will not be evaluated. The tender will look to pick up a catalogue discount approach on the remainder of goods and will be subject to prescribed branding and quality. Any agreement entered into will be for an initial one year period but subject to budget, performance and strategy have the option of four annual extensions. Specification The specification for the Supply of building materials are as follows: • Provide Building Materials to SHG; • Ensure products are procured to SHG's specification & internationally recognised standards and have relevant traceability and certification; • Have adequate supply chain routes to support emergent requirements; • Support SHG in Specific project procurement activities (over and above recurrent usage); • Have open and transparent pricing; • Consolidate to single monthly invoicing; • Have appropriate quality control agreement - guarantee of product quality. • Ensure that sustainability considerations are accounted for within the sourcing supply chain. 6.4 Objectives of the Tender 1. SHG to be specific on the specifications and brands of materials that are to be used for SHG projects. 2. SHG to plan annually for their material requirements and ensure that all projects have consistency of material application on SHG property stock. 3. SHG to go to the local and international market with aggregated spend in their drive for value. 4. Availability- Reduction in Lead times for the commencement of projects 5. Quality- Increased lifespans and reduced wear and tear 6. Less Waste and Re-works as consistency of product will reduce unnecessary works 7. Simplified billing procedures allowing reduced invoices and less errors as well as efficient processing. 8. Reduction in terms of Total Cost of Ownership to SHG
