Sales & Marketing Support for Assistive Technology Services operated by Sefton Council

Tender description

Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council intends to procure services to generate sales of an assistive technology product which has been developed by the Council for widescale use as either a supportive assistive technology device or a lone worker device. The necessary accreditations are in place to meet the requirements of both markets. The Council also has a portfolio of additional assistive technology products and services which it is envisaged will benefit from the increased exposure created by the sales activity relating to the 'Arc Angel' product. Details of the Arc Angel product, and the range of additional products and services offered can be found at www.seftonarc.com The period of contract is for an initial period of twelve months with an opportunity to extend for two further periods of one year. During this time it is expected that the service supplier will work with Sefton Arc to deliver a substantial increase in direct sales of the Arc Angel product. The Council is not committed to any maximum or minimum expenditure through this agreement, and does not commit to maintaining current, or any level of spending. It is expected that a potential supplier will provide a price or cost for which he/she will provide the necessary services to the Council over a twelve month period. This may include a 'fixed' monthly fee and also a cost per Arc Angel unit sold. All financial models and proposals will be considered, but the underlying theme to run through each or any type of financial remuneration model must be the increase in sales of the Arc Angel unit.
