Birmingham City Council requires a supplier for the provision of consultancy services to support development of a Regional Action Plan and related activities as part of its involvement as a project partner in the Interreg Funded PURE COSMOS project. This project aims to enhance the competitiveness of SMEs, while also helping to reduce the administrative burden of the public sector through more effective and efficient delivery of services. This contract will be for a period of approximately 12 months commencing April 2018 until March 2019. They will require excellent project management and organisational skills; demonstrate strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills and possess an in-depth knowledge of Birmingham City Council and regional partnerships (e.g. GBSLEP, WMCA) and their operations. They will need to have good understanding of Interreg Europe programmes and it would be advantageous if they had some background knowledge of regional programmes in the partner project countries participating in the project. The Council will be using its free to use e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and potential suppliers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
