The Authority is conducting a soft market test (SMT) to help inform them on a future procurement strategy in connection with the delivery of its "Housing repairs service". Further information is set out in this Notice. The Authority is conducting a soft market test (SMT) to help inform a future procurement strategy in connection with the delivery of its "Housing Repairs Service". The Authority currently delivers housing repairs via an "In-Sourced" solution whereby an external Provider undertakes management and support functions to a directly employed workforce. The Authority is considering a range of options when this contract expires in 2020 including Insourcing, Outsourcing, In house provision, Joint venture and wholly owned subsidiary. Accordingly, potential Providers may be interested in one or more of these options and are therefore encouraged to participate in this SMT and to share their experience and knowledge of these different approaches. This PIN seeks to establish the market interest and capability to undertake the required services with Applicants required to complete a short questionnaire as further detailed in this notice.
