Tenders for the Supply of Personal Protective Clothing for Fire Fighter Tunics & Pants

Tender description

The scope of this Invitation to Tender (ITT) is to seek tenders for the supply of Fire-fighter Tunic and pants (hereafter referred to as Fire Kit) to Clare County Council’s Fire and Rescue Service (hereafter referred to as Clare County Fire & Rescue Service) for a five year period. Clare County Fire and Rescue Service intend purchasing approximately 150 sets of Fire Kit in 2017 and anticipate ordering in the region of 20 sets of Fire Kit per annum for 2018 to 2021. Clare County Council is seeking tenders for the procurement of Fire Kit requirements for a period of 12 months from December 2017 to November 2018. There will be an option to extend this contract by 4 separate 12 month periods. It is emphasised that the continuation of the contract beyond the one year period will be contingent upon the successful delivery of the initial contract. However, Clare County Council reserves the right to terminate this contract at any stage. Clare County Council is using the Open Procedure for this tender, which means that any interested party can submit a tender. Valid tenders submitted in accordance with the Request for Tenders and received before the stated deadline will be assessed on the basis of the eligibility criteria and award criteria set out in Section 5. Tenderers are requested to review this document in detail and ensure that they have addressed all of the relevant requirements in their tender. The quantities indicated are estimates only and no guarantee is given that the quantities alluded to will be purchased.
