SECURITY COMPLIANCE AND COMMON PARTS WORKS TO VARIOUS BLOCKS ADDRESSES WITHIN LONDON BOROUGH HARROW

Tender description

The aim of this pilot project is to deliver improved fire/gas appliance safety and means of escape by the installation of fire and carbon monoxide sensors and alarms to individual flats and maisonettes to meet LD2 standard and emergency lighting to common parts in blocks with three or more exit storey levels in line with agreed strategy. Block fire compartmentalization will be improved where none exists to roof voids and service ducts as applicable to various blocks across the London Borough of Harrow. Security works including replacement doors/screens to main entrances or gated entry as appropriate and communal access/exit doors upgraded with new door entry systems to include fob entry call panels and coloured monitor video handsets. External DDA level access approach where applicable and space permits. Keywords: security
