EHRC 1718-79 Public Sector Equality Duty Resources for the third sector in Wales

Tender description

The Commission seeks to engage the services of a suitably qualified provider to: Develop a set of resources that make it easier for third sector organisations to understand and use the Public Sector Equality Duties to challenge discrimination and inequality. Work is already underway to develop a resource which explains the basic principles of the PSED; this will be available to draw on in the development of these further resources. The proposed resources will make it quicker and easier for third sector organisations to understand and use the PSED as a lever to drive change and challenge discrimination. The resources should explain, in an easy to understand manner, the duties placed on public bodies in short bite size chunks (ideally one side of A4). All resources should be accompanied by a template (or similar) that organisations can use to take action e.g. a template letter. Any templates developed should link to the Commission’s evidence base e.g. Is Wales Fairer? and should be easily customisable by the organisations using them. Keywords: Social
